Description:

This layer contains all address points in Middlesex County, Virginia. Addresses are assigned by the E911 & Mapping Department following the approval of new buildings by the Planning & Zoning Department. Most numbers in the County follow the formula of (distance down road) / 5.28. 

This layer is used to update 9-1-1 systems and the USPS Address Management System. Data contains information on emergency services (ESN and PSAP numbers), Post Office (Post Office Name and Zip Code), and other location information such as Place Names (where applicable) and parsed out address information.
