These area images are a sub-collection of the Susquehanna River Basin 1972 collection. This sub-collection of the Conestoga Creek, Lancaster to Brownstown includes 29 images.

Aerial Photographs of the Susquehanna River Basin 1972: These photos were taken in response to Hurricane Agnes in 1972 for the Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC). During the major flood caused by Hurricane Agnes in June 1972, Erdman & Anthony, Consulting Engineers captured aerial imagery of the Susquehanna River at Harrisburg, Conestoga Creek, Conodoguinet Creek, Swatara Creek, and the Juniata River. This imagery does not have a uniform scale. This collection includes 336 images. These photos were given to the Donald W. Hamer Center for Maps and Geospatial Information by the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Geological Survey Library. These photos were scanned at 800 dpi on an Epson Expression 11000 scanner by the Donald W. Hamer Center for Maps and Geospatial Information.
