Description: Incised Valley Fills, or paleovalleys, as mapped by Gary Weissman and others. These are ancient geologic, subterranean structures that have high permeability and can lead to the deeper aquifers for meaningful recharge. The Modesto Formation is the larger valley that was identified in Weissman's paper and studied by Rosemary Knight - confirmed by the AEM surveys. These were digitized from the South Kings Groundwater Sustainability Plan.
